1. SPEED AT THE OLD PROVIDER

Before transferring the Kidsfriends.toys online store to our server, it operated quite slowly. According to the Chrome DevTools web developer tool, the Time to First Byte (TTFB) on the server at the old provider was 5.94 seconds, while the entire homepage of the online store loaded in 15.26 seconds.

2. SPEED IMMEDIATELY AFTER TRANSFER

After transferring the Kidsfriends.toys online store to our server, we first performed a speed test with Chrome DevTools. We installed the WP Super Cache plugin on the website, which we used to optimize browser cache and page display. We also reduced the size of js/css files and the number of requests. We also optimized images, which now take up less space. Since we used so-called lossless compression, the quality of the images remained unchanged. We improved the total loading time by 10.76 seconds compared to the initial state, which means a 70.51% acceleration.

Additional explanations regarding speed optimization

  • Why aren't the results after optimizing the Kidsfriends.toys online store even better?
