• Is the price the only factor I need to consider when choosing a domain registrar?

  For many, the price of the domain is the most important factor when choosing a registrar, but it should not be the only criterion for selection. It is important that as a subscriber you can easily manage your domains, edit DNS records, change domain holder data, use free DNS hosting, access the EPP code, etc. With us, domain registration also gives you the option of a free email address for forwarding messages to your mailbox.

• Why are domain prices different?

  The price of a domain depends on the pricing policy of the top-level registrar (registry) for each domain extension and the pricing policy of the registrar. This means that registrars register domains at prices set by top-level registrars, and offer them to end customers at their own set prices. This leads to differences in price both between different domain extensions and between individual registrars.

  At NEOSERV, we offer 1000+ domains at excellent prices. If you find a better offer at another registrar, let us know and we will match the lower price. In addition to affordable prices, we allow you to manage your domains easily and efficiently in the My NEOSERV Client Portal.

• Is domain registration a one-time cost?

  You can register a domain for at least one year, during which time you will not have any additional costs besides the registration itself. If you still want to use the domain after the period has expired, you will need to renew it.

  We advise you to register the domain for several years, as at NEOSERV we offer an additional discount on multi-year registration.

• Does it matter where I register my domain? Isn't it the same if I choose the cheapest provider?

  The price of domain registration is certainly one of the main criteria for choosing a registrar, but not the only one. At Neoserv, in addition to affordable prices, we also offer free use of an advanced, transparent and user-friendly My NEOSERV Client Portal, where you can manage everything related to purchased services. You can edit DNS records for individual domains, as well as easily manage WHOIS data.

  We also offer you free DNS hosting, which means that you can direct your domain to any IP address.

• Do I get a discount for registering a larger number of domains?

  Since our domain registration prices are extremely low, we unfortunately cannot offer you an additional discount on registration. However, we are happy to offer you a discount when renewing a larger number of domains or when renewing a domain for several years. More about this.

• What are thematic extensions and why are some much more expensive than classic extensions?

  The term thematic domains refers to domains with newer domain extensions, which in themselves indicate the interest or business activity that the owner or user of the domain should engage in. They started appearing at the end of 2013, and their popularity is growing very fast, so we at NEOSERV decided to offer as many of them as possible.

  Thematic domains are indeed on average more expensive than classic domains. The prices of some exceed 100 €, but there are also cheaper ones available for less than 10 €. Unfortunately, we do not have much room for maneuver when setting prices, as the base prices of individual domain extensions are set by top-level registrars.

• When to use a national, general or thematic domain?

  The choice of domain extension depends primarily on the target group for which your website will be intended. For national and general, consider the geographical aspect:

  • Register the .SI domain when you want to reach the inhabitants of Slovenia with a website in Slovenian.
  • Choose the .DE domain when you want to bring your offer closer to the inhabitants of Germany.
  • Register the .HR domain if your site is made in Croatian and intended for the inhabitants of Croatia.
  • Choose the .EU domain in case you target the countries of the European Union with a multilingual website.
  • If your website is intended for an English-speaking audience, register the .COM, .NET or .ORG domain.

  And when to choose a thematic domain? Especially when you want to stand out from the average and when a specific activity is presented on your website. Let us list a few examples:

  • If you want to start blogging, registering the .BLOG domain will definitely be a great choice.
  • Are you a master in your field? Register the .PRO, .NINJA, .GURU or .EXPERT domain.
  • Do you have your own place that you would also like to present on the web? The .BAR domain is perfect for this.
  • Are you passionate about preparing dishes and want the whole world to know about your recipes? Register the .RECIPES domain.
  • Would you like to have a page with reviews of foreign products or services? You won't miss with the registration of the .REVIEWS domain.
• I would like to transfer the domain to you. Will I have to pay the price for the first year or for the following ones?

  We are pleased that we have convinced you with quality services and a favorable offer. If you decide to transfer the domain to us and also renew the domain with us, we will charge you the lower price, i.e. the price for the first year.

  When transferring a .SI domain, it is not necessary to renew it immediately, while the transfer of .COM, .NET, .ORG and many other domains requires simultaneous renewal for a minimum period of one year.

• Does the domain price list show actual prices or will I be surprised by hidden costs later?

  Don't worry, the domain price list shows actual prices with VAT already included. When registering a domain, you pay the amount shown on the price list. There are no hidden costs.

• How many different domain extensions can I register?

  At NEOSERV, you can register more than 1,000 different domain extensions. For domains that you do not find on the price list, send us an inquiry. We will ensure that you can also register a domain that is not on our price list at the excellent price.
