Available domains hide opportunities ...

... that can be exploited by you or your competition - the choice is yours.

For businesses or more serious projects, it is always advisable to register the 4 most popular domain extensions. These are .SI, .COM, .NET and .EU. This way you will protect yourself from your competitor registering the same domain and offering competitive services or products on it.

If you reserve these domains for yourself, you will prevent this, and at the same time you can direct all 4 domains to the same website. This way, customers will find your website even if they accidentally make a mistake in the domain name.

How to easily find available domains?

Simple! Use our super friendly domain checker (above).

With it, you can check available domains for as many as 1000+ different domain extensions in one place! So you no longer need to use different providers for domain registration but can arrange everything in one place - and save time and money.

The available domain checker will, in case your desired domain is already occupied, also offer a suggestion for alternative or similar domains that are still available and available for registration.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

  • What does it mean that the domain is still available?

Available domains are those that do not belong to anyone at the moment and are therefore available for registration. If you find a good available domain for your web project, we advise you not to hesitate with the registration, as anyone can register it before you.

Special conditions apply to the registration of some top-level domains (for example .HR). When you enter and check the desired domain in the domain search engine on our website, you will be clearly informed about any special conditions.

  • It shows me that the domain is occupied, but there is no website on it. What does this mean?

If our domain checker has shown you that the domain is occupied, but you have found that there is no website set up on it, the domain is unfortunately not available for registration. In this case, the domain already has its owner or holder, who has not yet decided to set up a website.

We advise you to consider registering a domain with the same name but a different domain extension, or choose a new domain name.

  • What can I do if someone has already registered the domain I want?

Quality available domains are becoming increasingly rare, which applies not only to .COM domains, but increasingly also to .SI. If you have found a great domain that you really want, but it is already occupied, it will not be superfluous to ask the domain owner directly about the possibility of purchase.

Find the contact details of the domain owner on his website or use the WHOIS service (for example register.si for .SI domains), which will show you the holder's data. You should know that some top-level domains offer WHOIS protection for rent, which hides the holder's data.

If the domain owner does not want to give up or sell the domain, your only option is to register another domain.

  • Can I register available domains that are the same or similar to registered trademarks (e.g. ebay.si)?

If you are thinking about registering a available domain that has the same or similar name to a registered trademark or company, we recommend that you abandon this idea. You can register the domain, but there is a chance that it will cause you trouble. The holder of the registered trademark can initiate a domain dispute resolution procedure or a court procedure. If it turns out that you are not entitled to the domain, you will have to give it up, and you may also be fined.

Before buying a domain, make sure that you will not violate laws and rules with the registration.

  • Can I wait for the already occupied domain to expire and then try to register it?

When a domain expires, it first goes into so-called quarantine. This is a state when it can only be extended by its existing owner, and it is not available for registration to others. For the .SI domain, the quarantine state lasts 30 days, which means that you will have to wait another 30 days after the expiration date before the domain (maybe) becomes available.

If you want to acquire a domain that has not yet expired, the likelihood that the current holder will not extend it is much smaller than if the domain is already in quarantine. Of course, no one is preventing you from waiting and trying your luck.

Let us give you a well-intentioned advice. When the domain is again available for registration, react quickly. Quality available domains are very sought after, so it can very quickly happen that someone else registers it before you. Use a payment method that allows immediate registration, or send us a confirmation of the transaction by e-mail, so we can register the desired domain immediately.
