On the contrary, tests with the Chrome DevTools tool showed that the online store was loading for almost 4 and a half seconds for visitors.

First, we compressed the images using an optimization script, thus ensuring that they now take up considerably less space. Consequently, they are displayed faster to visitors, while the quality of the images remained practically identical, as we used compression without visible losses. In the next two steps, we installed a caching plugin and a plugin for minifying CSS and JS files. Finally, we took care of the progressive loading of images, which we also arranged with a dedicated WordPress plugin.
