How to Show Hidden Files and Folders in cPanel

By default, certain files and folders are hidden on your hosting package, but in some cases you may need to access them. These are files and folders that start with a period (.).

Files and folders can be accessed via the cPanel control panel -> Files section -> File Manager icon.

Click the Settings button in the top right corner to see hidden files and folders.

In the list, tick the Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) option and click Save to save your selection.

The hidden files and folders on your hosting package are now visible.
