The WHM control panel, where you create and manage cPanel accounts, is designed for Reseller hosting subscribers. See how to access the WHM Dashboard and edit hosting packages and cPanel accounts within it.

1. Accessing WHM

The WHM interface can be accessed via the My NEOSERV Subscription Centre (first page, left-hand column) or via the server name (https://ime-streznika/whm).

The server name is written in your My NEOSERV subscription centre (tab “Your domains/hosting” – click on the selected package and check the information in the grey field), and it is also written in the title of your Reseller hosting package itself.

2. Packages and cPanel accounts

In the WHM interface you can define both packages and cPanel accounts.

The difference is that a cPanel account is the actual account where you bind the domain or domains and where you then upload the website files, create email inboxes, etc. Packages define what the limits of an individual cPanel account are, such as the amount of space, the number of domains that can be added to the package, etc. (so packages are like our White, Orange, Green, Blue and Red hosting packages, for example).

Hosting packages

There are no predefined hosting packages in the new WHM interface yet. You can create your own packages under Packages -> Add a Package (for easier searching, you can type “Add a Package” in the search bar in the menu on the left), where you will be able to set parameters for the packages.

For the Monthly Bandwidth Limit (MB) item, you need to specify a value (e.g. 999999 or select the default value) for the hosting package to work properly. The default value is already large enough that it will not be exceeded.

WHM - Add a Package

You can also modify packages afterwards by selecting Edit a Package from the menu. Modifying an individual package affects all cPanel accounts that use it.

cPanel accounts

cPanel accounts are actual accounts that you create and to which you bind an individual domain or multiple domains. You can create a new account by selecting Account Functions -> Create a New Account from the menu on the left. There you specify the carrier domain and the desired hosting package for this cPanel account.

WHM - Create a New Account

You can check the list of existing cPanel accounts under Account Information -> List Accounts. To edit a cPanel account, click on the + sign in front of the account.
