If you receive a 0x800CCCDD message in Outlook, it is an error in the IMAP settings. This error means that the “Send/Receive” function has not been synchronised successfully when connected to the Internet.

Fix the error in six steps:
- In Outlook, click Tools or Send/Receive to bring up an additional menu.
- Click on Send/Receive Groups.
- Click on Define Send/Receive Groups.
- Under the setting for the All accounts group, untick the box that indicates Schedule an automatic send/receive every.
- In addition , uncheck the box under When Outlook is Offline for Schedule an automatic send/receive every.
- Click the Close button.
