How to Connect a Domain to ClickFunnels

ClickFunnels is a popular online tool for easy sales funnel set-up. It allows companies and individuals to set up and automate the sales process from start to finish, while also controlling every stage of the buying journey. And without any programming knowledge.
To point your domain to ClickFunnels, you will need to change the DNS record (CNAME). If you have a web hosting package with us in addition to your domain, you can make the change in the cPanel control panel. If you only have a domain and no hosting, you can change the DNS record in the My NEOSERV Subscription Centre.

Linking a domain to ClickFunnels via cPanel
Do you have a domain registered with us and are you also our web hosting customer? In this case, you can change the CNAME record in the cPanel control panel.
1. Log in to the cPanel Control Panel (login instructions).
2. Click on Zone Editor in the DOMAINS icon set.
3. In the list, find the domain you want to associate with ClickFunnels and select MANAGE.
4. In the list, find the line with the CNAME record pointing to the umbrella domain and click EDIT. Change the Record and replace it with the following: target.clickfunnels.com
5. Save your changes by clicking the SAVE RECORD button.
We advise you to change the TTL value of the CNAME record from 14400 to 300. This will allow you to verify the domain link on your ClickFunnels website in 5 minutes (300 seconds) instead of 4 hours (14400 seconds).
Domain connection to ClickFunnels with NEOSERV DNS hosting
Have you registered a domain with us but haven’t decided on a web hosting package? If so, you can change the CNAME record using free DNS hosting at the My NEOSERV Subscription Centre.
1. Log in to the My NEOSERV Subscription Centre (login instructions).
2. Select YOUR DOMAIN / HOSTING from the top menu and click on the domain you wish to associate with your ClickFunnels website in the list of services.
3. Select Edit DNS records, then click on Enable DNS record editing in the bottom right. This will activate DNS hosting.
4. Click on the ADD DNS RECORD button and add a new CNAME record. In the “Name:” box, type www and select 300 for TTL, and in the box below, type the record: target.clickfunnels.com
5. Click the Add button to confirm the creation of the new CNAME record.
Have you followed the procedure and therefore only recently activated DNS hosting? In this case, wait 4-24 hours for the DNS servers to refresh. However, if you have already activated DNS hosting, the domain will point to your ClickFunnels website in about 5 to 10 minutes.
